In the production of wood-cased craft pencils local wood from sustainable forests are mainly used. Through the short transport distances Bleispitz achieves great energy and emissions savings. For heating of the production halls production waste comes to use, allowing for additional savings and protects the environment.

Because of environmental reasons Bleispitz mainly uses recyclable cardboard for different sales packaging and displays. Bleispitz is a member of the Dual System Germany (Green Dot).
